  ELASTECH 5000 PLUS (SBS) -25oCModified polymer-bitumen membranes, composed of distilled bitumen and SBS elastomers, having a special reinforcement made of SPUNBOND woven non woven polyester fabric with longitudinal reinforcing threads. Uses: high complexity waterproofing, where mechanical resistance and flexibility are required.
 ROOFTEC POLUnder tiling waterproofing membranes, designed especially for pitched roofs. The waterproofing compound is made from distilled bitumen and APP plastomers, impregnated over a flexible polyester carrier with good mechanical characteristics. The upper side of the underlayment is covered with a light polypropylene mat or with polyethylene film.

 ARCO THERMO AD (V,P)Special prefabricated modified polymer-bitumen membrane, composed of distilled bitumen and thermo adhesive polymers, activated by heat transfer. Bonding to the substrate (EPS, wood) happens by torching the upper surface of the membrane, without damaging the substrate.
 ARCO THERMO AD ALUSpecial prefabricated modified polymer-bitumen membrane combining a cleaner, safer and faster installation of themo-adhesive products with a complete vapor barrier protection given by the aluminum core.
 ARCO AUTOADHESIVESpecial prefabricated modified polymer-bitumen membrane, composed of distilled bitumen, APP and special polymers which confer self-adhesive characteristics to the membrane. Due to this particularity, the membrane is used in situations where the use of open flame is restricted.
 ARCO FORATOPerforated bituminous waterproofing membrane, with glass fibre reinforcement. Provided with distributed holes, it is used as diffusion layer.
 ARCO ANTIROOTSpecial prefabricated modified polymer-bitumen membrane, composed of distilled bitumen, APP or SBS polymers and special chemical additives against root penetration. Uses: tunnels, foundations, roof gardens, pipe insulation.
 ARCO ALUTOP PLASTOBituminous prefabricated membrane, protected with a foil of embossed aluminum, with a special form of the embossment which permits the free dilation of the metal. The use of the aluminum foil as upper side finish assures, besides perfect watertight sealing, a better self-protection of the membrane through its reflective properties against heat and radiation, consequently ensuring a longer life expectancy of the waterproofing system.

 ARCO BIARMATOBituminous prefabricated membrane, having a double reinforcement composed by a polyester fabric and a glass fibre mat, ensuring better dimensional stability. The glass fibre reinforcement is situated close to the upper side, thus increasing its resistance to external loads.
 ARCO VAPOUR BARRIERSpecial prefabricated modified polymer-bitumen membrane, desigend to ensure total impermeability against vapor migration. The reinforcement of the membrane is made of a glass fibre mat coupled with an aluminium foil.
 ARMEX BRIDGE

   - ELASTO (sand/slate/TNT)Prefabricated modified polymer-bitumen membranes, composed of distilled bitumen and APP or SBS polymers, reinforced with a special SPUNBOND polyester fabric, having great tensile strength and resistance to static loading. Area of use: road or rail bridges, highways, structures with heavy traffic.
   - THERMO AD (sand/slate/TNT)Prefabricated modified polymer-bitumen membranes, composed of distilled bitumen, APP polymers and thermo adhesive polymers, reinforced with a special SPUNBOND polyester fabric, having great tensile strength and resistance to static loading. Area of use: road or rail bridges, highways, structures under heavy traffic. Adhesion to the substrate happens by heat transfer from the hot asphalt, and does not require using a torch.
 ARMEX DURAGRID GEO-TSpecial prefabricated polymer-bitumen membrane, having distinct layers composed of distilled bitumen and APP, SBS and thermo adhesive polymers. The reinforcement is especially designed to distribute and reduce the tension of the applied load, to reinforce the road bed, and to increase the life expectancy of the structure. Adhesion to the substrate happens by heat transfer from the hot asphalt (European Patent Ep 1932660).
 ARMEX ROOF
   - PLASTOPrefabricated modified polymer-bitumen membrane, composed of distilled bitumen and APP or SBS polymers, having a special reinforcement made of glass fiber fabric. The reinforcement grants high mechanical performance and extreme tearing resistance. Areas of use: base layer for multilayer applications in roof waterproofing, torch applied or mechanically fastened, especially recommendable over wood or metal decks with mineral wool insulation by nail fixing.
   - ELASTOPrefabricated modified polymer-bitumen membrane, composed of distilled bitumen and APP or SBS polymers, having a special reinforcement made of glass fiber fabric. The reinforcement grants high mechanical performance and extreme tearing resistance. ARMEX DURAGRID GEO-T is a multi-reinforced thermo-adhesive bituminous composite membrane, consisting of two layers of bituminous mass, a composite reinforcement (polyester reinforcement doubled with a glass fibre woven), a polypropylene silicon coated film applied on the lower side of the membrane, a protection reinforcement made from non-woven polypropylene yarns, applied on the upper side of the membrane and a siliconised sheet for protection of the lateral overlapping, meant for road’s
hydroinsulation and reinforcement.

The membrane can be used between the base layer and the attrition
tarmac layer, both for rehabilitating the roads and for the execution of new roads.

The membrane composition, and its bituminous mass respectively, ensures the road surfacing hydroinsulation.

The membrane is perfectly compatible with the asphalt mass, and the structure and the reinforcement characteristics ensures the reinforcement and delays the cracks propagation in the upper or lower road layers.

The advantages of using this membrane are :

1. it blocks the water ascention from the groundwater through the base layer towards the road surfacing attrition level. The water, by repeated freezing-thawing cycles deteriorates the road structure in time at the separation level of the two layers. It blocks the access of water accumulated inside the possible cracks in the attrition layer to the base layer of the road, under the pressure exerted by the cars wheels.
The water can generate horizontal shearing stress or cracks cleavage strains. The system is thus constituted as a waterproof layer, giving the time to the foundation bed to sew the water and to the attrition layer to evacuate the water by evaporation.

2. it reduces or blocks the cracks propagation from the road support layer to the attrition layer by taking over the stresses which exist between layers. The reinforcement used and specially designed for this product has special mechanical characteristics, particulary the strength characteristics, the elongation at break and static loading characteristics

3. easy application and self-fixing the membrane by thermal adherence and easy superposition of lateral and end sides by the displacement of the protection siliconated film

4. perfect cohesion inside the road surfacing structure due to the special composition of the bituminous mass and of the used thermally active additives

5. the stability of shape and implicit composite membrane characteristics

6. it reduces the working time, immediately after the adhering on the support layer the membrane permits the circulation of the asphalting equipments
